音読み (おんよみ): カ、クダ
訓読み (くんよみ): は・てる、は・たす
部首 (ぶしゅ) : 木 (き)

Meaning: give fruit, fruit, result, bear, end in something

Notes: At last I can read  this!



It’s interesting that the おんよみ ”くだ” is obscure, except it’s used in the incredibly important word “fruit”.  I love it when things that are “exceptions” go main-stream…
