音読 み (おんよみ): トウ
訓読 み (くんよみ): い・たる
部首 (ぶしゅ):刂 (りっとう)

Meaning: arrive, proceed, reach, attain, result in.

Notes:  First kanji I saw on my June 2009 flight to Japan.  It was used as part of the word

到着

とうちゃく
arrive

Side note:  着 is an interesting kanji.  On the surface it means “to wear”, but it has a lot more meanings too, and gets used all over the place. 着 needs to be a kanji of the day sometime.

(place)に到る

(place)にいたる
arrive at (place)
